Jenifer Hill, M.Sc., R.P.Bio., is the Principal of JLH Environmental. Ms. Hill is an environmental scientist with 25 years of experience completing social and environmental work for the natural resource sectors. Her work includes: planning and executing baseline studies; coordinating and completing environmental and social effects assessments; permitting; development of environmental management systems and plans; biodiversity offset planning, waste and water management planning; and closure planning.
She works in alignment with clients to facilitate informed decisions that inspire action. Jenifer brings her technical background and broad experience to synthesize data and information to offer well-founded and balanced evaluations. She voluntarily transfers knowledge to empower clients to achieve their goals.
Ms. Hill has completed environmental and social due diligence and ongoing monitoring as part of Independent Engineer team (benchmarked to the Equator Principles and the IFC Social and Environmental Performance Standards) for bank financing of international mining projects (projects located in Mexico, Venezuela, Eritrea, Brazil, Peru, Panama, Armenia, West Africa). She has also completed environmental and social due diligence reviews of mining projects for acquisitions (projects located in Australia, Arizona, Quebec, Saskatchewan, Texas, Wisconsin).
